Re: What are you reading?

Right now, I'm reading articles about the place I'm planning to go on holidays this summer. Of course, with flight comparators and room booking sites on the side. But when it comes to books, I've recently bought the Bible of early cold war Soviet armor, the 3rd volume of Oтечественные бронированные ...

Re: TV series you need to watch

Jericho is quite awesome, it's one of the rare US series I did watch by myself... and re-watched later on. But I find it funny now that I looked at it with a political point of view (disclaimer : what I'm going to say is a description of something I watched, not my opinions, or an argument for/again...

Re: Cosplay

The original kit would actually be a great thing to have in summer. The character's suit seems to be modeled after the Soviet Afghan-era Mabuta uniform, that is made for tropical climates and thus very breathable. That's what I can say by looking at the pants, because the jacket looks like a mix of ...

Re: Anime Thread

After watching most of Violet Evergarden, I don't know what the appeal is. It's supposed to be a story about a character 1) coming back to a normal life after a war and 2) discovering the human emotions she never got to experience. But it seems like the scenarists forgot that there are other emotion...

Re: Favourite Map?

It's true that we don't get enough of the sideways STTP, it's a shame. I remember, though, the very day the Red DLC was released, playing a turbo cheese game on it, spamming two cards' worth of Sturmis back when they still were at 5 points... I'm pretty sure this gave cancer to some player's cancer,...

Re: One Deck to fight them all

How is the Ka-52 bad or a niche helo? It does recon, SEAD AND kills helos, AND it's armored. It's never a waste of slots or points, but yeah, if you want to use it to fight regular forces (infantry, tanks, vehicles, this kind of stuff) it will be useless, and it will be better to replace it with a M...

Re: To SEAD, or not to SEAD

The best thing is to learn how to play with AND without SEAD. If I can, I always take a SEAD plane, but if I want to build a deck that can't take one, then I don't. In these situations, I either make sure to play with someone who has a SEAD plane in his deck ( ) or at least limit my use of...
