So the entire Russian community is threatening to quit over a lack of S-300 without even seeing a stat line for the vehicle.

Too much effort for very little gain. On a side note, the modern V-22 has turned into a pretty useful and safe aircraft. Agreed, changes like this would be the single best thing you can do to reinvigorate a lot of players I used to play the game with. The vast majority simply avoided the river maps after the first couple games, and got real tired of playing the same few, non-naval, not river maps. Look at 3MI from EE/...

The difference between 980m and 770m is what, 5% at best? After that, they will scale the same. The range is not making up for the accuracy by any means given it's 10%+, and that's visible both in game and in the math.
