Re: Helicopter CVs redundant?

CV helis should be able to cap without landing. It would still be vulnerable, but you could use it offensively to stop reinforcements spawns or air strikes. It would also be able to escape quickly.

Of course, this might not be possible in the current engine.

Re: On solo campaigns ....

Any plans for European campaigns? I like the 5 listed so far, but a remake of the ALB campaigns or something in Germany would be nice too. Actually, a remade EE would be great with the new features from RD.

I would gladly pay for SP DLC.

Re: Why so few NATO V NATO and PACT V PACT games?

Atmosphere for me. I just can't get into a mixed NATO civil war with Germans, Americans, French, etc on both sides. even pact I don't see that happening. If we could create more lobby rules, like a polish vs USSR scenario I would enjoy it more. I'd like to make a west German vs USA scenario. Somethi...

Re: Immunity Period for Random Terrain Events?

I wouldn't mind seeing these go away altogether. I understand the realism, but they don't really add much. maybe they should have a percentage of all called in reinforcements not show up either. It too would be more realistic, but again not really fun. the combat effects I'm ok with, but even that I...

Re: Off map fire support AKA Cruise Missile Assests

Make B57s and B43s available to pre-1975 decks. F-4s, A-4s, A-7s, F-104s, CF-104s, etc. all get nuclear strike variants for destroying resisting enemy tank/infantry companies. WARPAC gets their equivalent nuclear strike planes. Rushing stops. Forever. v: this would be hilarious as a mod/mode. Kind ...

Re: National Pride & The Nation Bonus

I would still like to see a better bonus. The us/ussr also get prototypes and generally theirs are better. If the Germans are supposed to be the heavy armor deck, why not give them a small bonus when using all German units, like a speed, rof, or health bonus. Not something drastic, but enough where ...

I'm pretty sure it was 100 yesterday.

Re: Air superiority and airspace denial

I think this would be a bad change. There are plenty of accounts from real wars where planes were hit with SAMs and finished their mission.

if anything, I'd say add a critical hit that forced an evac. That should apply to the more powerful SAMs on 30-50% of hits.

Re: Underlying gameplay mechanics changes

3. Veterancy applying accuracy bonuses AFTER stabilizer. Vet 4 should not give my Marder VTS1 a better chance to hit on the move then my M60A3. This is likely easily fixed by just moving the application of veterancy accuracy to BEFORE the stabilizer is taken into account. Moving accuracy has no rel...

Re: Underlying gameplay mechanics changes

1) Yes please! 2) The only problem I personally see is with chain-routing where you just can't get control of a unit, even to give it proper fall-back orders. It would be great to be able to designate safe fall-back positions where things can rout to, or something like that. A very tricky problem, ...
