Re: Infantry Suggestions

Any suggestions for a different Delta MG? The M60 would be fine if it had higher Acc (50%) but if its never gonna happen what other MGs could be useful? A CQC M240? Or is it too cumbersome? With their year of introduction, and their actual purpose, the Stoner would make a lot more sense than the 60...

Re: Infantry Suggestions

Since the reliability concerns don't factor into RD, but the ranges should, I think this is enough grounds to flip the 60 and 240 ranges around. I'd also consider the possibility of giving Riflemen '90 the 240, with a (possible) +5 price hike, in order to differentiate them further from the Marines...

Re: Infantry Suggestions

M249 for Army riflemen M240 for Marine riflemen Then it becomes a downgrade from the Colt LMG, and detracts from the Marines' main attraction in a US deck: Shock CQB troops. Really, the 240 and 60 need to have their ranges swapped. That way the 240 becomes an actual upgrade, instead of the not-quit...

Re: PACT/NATO General Tank Comparisons/General Engagement Gu

And excellent and well written thread. Perfectly sums up the asymmetrical balance between factions, and provides very useful tips for taking advantage of it. A suggestion to NATO players: try to keep a card of rocket arty in your deck. If you have the misfortune of facing Cat A USSR national armor ...

Re: PACT/NATO General Tank Comparisons/General Engagement Gu

Neither the MBT-70 or the Sherry have many shells. It's 15 rounds, if I recall correctly. A couple of trucks nearby, a couple of tanks on rotation, and that problem is mitigated. Just keep a few other tanks handy to screen them, and party on.

Re: Suggestion : Bring Back Success !

Can be weird for a lot of you but.. it would be cool to include Steam Success as it was in European Escalation. I don't think it's a huge work to do .. It is something that push to keep playing, which is good. I finished all EE Campaign missions although in AB, I barely touched the campaign because...

Re: Marine Decks

Seriously, read Stug41's sig links. They're some of the best guides around to employing Marine decks, and are actually what fixed a lot of my issues playing mine. Just remember: Recon, recon, recon. Playing a Marine deck is all about knowing where the enemy is well in advance, so you can deploy/rede...

Re: PACT/NATO General Tank Comparisons/General Engagement Gu

T72M1's possess 18 AP at a price point ~40-50% lower than most other tanks with that AP. It's the main selling point of said tank. Sheridans possess the only main gun in NATO to have HE 4 , and the Shillelagh is a decent ATGM. M8's, while tinderboxes, posses an accurate, powerful, 15 RPM cannon, wi...
