Re: DLC Inconsistency thread
Is there some kind of justification I'm not aware of for the M109A5 NL has 6 seconds between shots while the M109A6 Paladin has 10 seconds? Re: [Red Dragon] Patch (v.196)
Expanded search to include all arms transfers to the netherlands and not just missiles reveals AIM-9M delivered in 1993-4 so thats ok. Does not list AIM-9Ns though. Only list AIM-9B in 1958. SIPRI is to my knowledge the most comprehensive arms transfer database in the world. The official dutch airf...

Re: [Red Dragon] Patch (v.196)
Nor can they have an aircraft with AMRAAMs and A2G weapons. Only export customers get that. Did Dutch have AIM-9Ms? I noticed the F-16 Block 15 has AIM-9Ms while I remember Scandinavia only had the L. According to SIPRI the dutch only bought the FRG L version in 1985. Before that all they had was t...

Re: DUTCH ARMY: A PREVIEW
Same for German and Norwegian (English is a germanic language as well). Sturm and storm means exactly the same as the english storm. It got picked since the phrase "to storm" something has the exact same meaning in those languages as well. I'm assuming there is a dutch equivalent phrase a...

Re: DUTCH ARMY: A PREVIEW
Best translation of Stoottroepen (if the dutch word stoot is anything like our word støt) is something along the line of thrust troops which I find highly amusing. It means Stormtroopers or other wish sayed shock infantry. I got that but word etymologies have slightly different meanings in translat...
