Re: OPERATION BAGRATION ... Would you like to know more?

At the same time, tremendous pressure was put on the Finnish front for some reason, can't recall the rationale right now. Success was a bit lackluster, considering the goals and the effort expended, due to strong defense and outstanding use of artillery. (Recently watched a nice old documentaries a...

Re: Future DLC’s for Wargame Red Dragon

Haha, wow. That MadMat post didnt age well. Can't really blame Eugen on ALB, the relevant sources are as a rule in Finnish only. And yes, Italy would have been nice addition. The voters disagreed. Eugen ignores the rules There are no rules. I'm sorry to hear that your suspension of disbelief ...

Re: Conquest without income - Best of both worlds

I wanted to post to this thread, but then realized that all relevant and standard viewpoints to this old topic have already been posted here, yet again. Re: What worked and what didn't of Steel Division's innovations?

In addition, many of the problems came from the outcry of very small, but very vocal ranked community, who exclusively played in the Conquest gamemode. Re: [Now in Red Dragon] FINLAND

We both know that Finland isn't the worst offender in that regard, on the contrary. As for the BMP-2: AFAIK this was a post-Cold War doctrinal change, introduced after they had enough launcher units to re-arm the Brigade-level AT Companies with TOWs. Well MAYBE if they didn't buy all those hornets!...

Re: What worked and what didn't of Steel Division's innovations?

Setting: Normandy and WW2 Western Front are understandable from a marketing point of view. Personally I prefer Cold War, but here we are. Phases: If set amount of casualties and/or terrain captured would switch the phases and both sides had their own phase counter, the system could easily be expande...

Re: [Now in Red Dragon] FINLAND

Emails and classified information are one thing, but photos are something else. The source comes from a Finnish military discussion site, and these are screenshots from a short video - Sleksa is talking with the original poster to secure access to the video as well. But here they are, first public p...
