Little on-topic: what's with HJ-8 anyway? Sources vary greatly, but somehow I have really big doubts about 120mm missile from China with 1100mm pen in 90's. Is there more reality-based specs somewhere? IIRC, the HJ-8 is basically a TOW with a Milan's warhead, the Milan-3 could hit though 1100mm, so...

A map like a "bridge too far" from WG:EE would be perfect for huge battles.I remember having crazy fun playing 40000 starting pt games in that map and the 4v4 version of duel field.

140mm/152mm penetration is usually around 850mm when using late 80's/early 90's ammo.Thats 20% more than m892a2 which means ap around 28. BTW where did you get the 3rpm number from? How would a 140/152 mm tank work in wargame? It will likely have 25 AP (to begin with), 2450 range, 5-6 HE, 3 RPM with reload only working when static, and sub-par stabs. Is this really needed? As for the British Chieftain... How will that work? Likely rifled with 7-part ammo that you assemble with...

I dont get where people take from that idea that the ingame US's airforce is weak.It has the best air superiority due to tomcats.It has the best SEAD(prowler).Good bombers.Good anti tank.Its not weak in any area whatsoever. Non rocket artillery is good for disrupting single axis attacks contrasting a small number of high capability units and that's totally cool, part of the dance is finding the least capable, yet still sufficient AFV you can get away with using in order to have the numbers to work on multiple axes and...

No artillery should aim 10 seconds.They cant do that IRL and its terrible for gameplay.It makes attacking harder than it should be.On larger games it becomes pure cancer because you can have a whole team focusing its whole firepower on a single player's attacking force.Its just as cancerous as air ...
