Re: Draw

Agree! After playing the medium Nato campaign it is ridiculous how long you need to fight one battle group. I've fought one naval brigade to the point that it is reduced to naval infantry in BTR60s and artillery. Not a single tank or recce unit left. I don't get the Draw mecanic, in MP even if neith...

Re: Discuss planes loadouts!

I don't mean to be rude but there is a bunch of stuff that is not accurate in this thread :D No, the F-16 did not have any BVR missile capability at launch. The MiG-25BM was not wired for any air-to-air missiles like the R-60. A nice bombing/multirole loadout for the F-4 Phantom II 8-) http://i.imgu...

Re: The adventures of Bill Tanguy & John Laverdure

I actually hope we get separate Radar vehicles for the KUB system, with radar toggle-able on and off (standard tactic to turn off radar if suspected ARM launch). No Fire Control radar = no dice. Perhaps we could even get search radar to give a heads up of incoming aircraft? The BUK had the radar bui...

Re: And the 4 new nations will be ...

Well, I hope they keep the idea for a DLC. Nation packs would be pretty cool as a buy-dlc, so anyone could play vs. them but only players who bought them could play as them. Maybe with themed maps included. C'mon Eugen, think about the money

Re: Playing The East German NVA

I second Olivers suggestions. The T72G or T72M with Vet1-2 is a reasonable tradeoff, at close range they can hold their own. By no means great tanks though. The T55 flamethrower is good too, with one ore two vet. On infantry the FJB-40 aa/recon infantry is quite good to place forward of your main fo...

Re: Make Heavy Tanks playable again...

Meh, I think people whine about the ATGMs just for the same reason knights whined about crossbows: they are deemed "vulgar" as these low cost contraptions can put a hole in and kill your shiny knight/tank. I currently dont find there anything wrong with the current mechanics. Actually its...

Re: Quantity vs Quality in WG EE

First off, I do play MP quite bit. I play with randoms and more often than not I lose. But losing a lot does teach some valuable lessons. And it does tutor you in what works and what doesn't. I absolutely agree with falcrack, sometimes fielding a specific unit can be useful just as a scare forcing t...

Re: And the 4 new nations will be ...

I registered here just to write this. As a finn I am a bit disappointed in the omission of the FDF, after all if there's fighting going on in Scandinavia Finland will feature. Of course there was official talk of Finland remaining neutral, just as much as Sweden talked about that, but the cold hard ...
