Re: Dev Diary #1: Army General, a New Game within the Game

if the AI on strategic level is ok enough, it look quite good as a campaign map and possibilities.

"Off-map" assets like plane doesn't seem to be touch upon in the screenshot tho.

Re: War Thunder

Grinding for my BMP-1. I know it's not worth it. It shouldn't be that bad as i see it quite often currently. But i would assume that you need the Konkurs missile to make it work. My current hidden gem is the AMX-30 (1972), the after-penetration effect is often enough and the 400mm pen is really eff...

Re: World news thread

Can someone enlighten me as to what the EU is thinking? I'm seeing a whole lot of stuff on "banned memes" and the American alt-right going nuts with it. basically, trying to tip the balance for content creator instead of Google/Facebook, currently their news feed use Press material withou...

Re: The Good Friday Agreement.

the subject was more the specifics of the North irland argument than Brexit as a whole? My mistake, sorry! Anyway this side of the Channel , i have never heard about a specific danger about this peace agreement. So i had gone look out for information. As far as i can tell, both EU and UK agree on no...

Re: The Good Friday Agreement.

Somehow i would say that the only true sticking point of the Brexit is the saving/killing of the british service industry (ie the City). At least that's the subject with the most outside pressure on european governements during the negociation. Many in Frankfurt-am-Main and Paris see it as a great o...

Re: World news thread

Jesus you utter bastard it’s just been the anniversary of the funeral murders, and after terrorists have killed people in France including a very brave GIGN officer He wasn't GIGN btw, just plain regular and dedicated gendarme officer. Even if he had made a few years as second-in-command of the EPI...

Re: Commercial success of different Eugen games

i play SD only versus the AI because the RNG involved in the core mecanism is way to high for my taste. Seeing a M3 halftrack tanking three Pupschen's hits (AP 20) is nerve breaking in a PVP setup. Also, the Wargame community have the scar of the old arty spam meta and cordially hate overreliance on...

Re: Commercial success of different Eugen games

No flaw in WAB compared to W:RD As the guy who sucessfully played a cat C polish deck on the first 4v4 competitive tournament in ALB (even if we didn't win at the end), i assure you W:AB have way, way more flaws than W:RD in pure game design and pure "exploit" (cat C deck for inst...

Re: Commercial success of different Eugen games

So if i understand the number correctly: - SD and W:EE have basically the same path as a brand launcher, which feel as an half-sucess/ half-failure as Eugen got a lot more promotion and a bigger brand name for SD - W:AB and W:RD follow the trend of a successful brand, nothing unexpected here - AoA i...

Re: World news thread

hum, i don't know if it is a record as a finnish sniper did a 4005 meter shot in august 2016 and a french did a 4150 meter shot in november 2016.

Staged shot vs Warzone kill maybe?
