Re: How to keep W:EE going strong
I've not been here for a while and I've almost forgotten about W:EE now. I'm not sure that Eugen could do anything now that would make me want to play W:EE again, but I hope their next game is better. All the problems in W:EE were pointed out in beta feedback (Main point in my feedback was lack of F...

Re: Elitism is not helping new players.
Host your own game and play at your own level. Level isn't a great indicator of skill, but together with ELO levels it is still an indicator, it's all that we have. Stacked teams and lack of games has totally turned me off W:EE for the last 1-2 weeks. I'm back to playing RUSE and having 10 times mor...

There's an old quote: "Professional soldiers are predictable; the world is full of dangerous amateurs." Maybe your 'noob' tactics caught a lot of people out? For example, when the game was released a lot of people used heli spam with a certain degree of success - then people quickly learnt...

Re: How to keep W:EE going strong
In RTS-genre majority of players are mature who likes thinking, learning and good meta-games. So in that perspective most of the people can play well or very well. Of course if you are new in the game, you have to learn it. For example I was totally newbie in this genre and I lost most of my battle...

Re: How to keep W:EE going strong
All in all, it seems the community has pretty much got its act together, for the most parts. I'd say that actually the community is one of the best aspects of this game, hands down. If mod tools were released, we could look forward to a mod scene somewhat similar to Homeworld 2. Mod tools needed to...

Re: Eugen Attenation: Genuine concerns for the game
The player numbers are far too small now to justify any more significant development. I think they're on a break now until they start their next project. We might see a few minor tweaks here and there, but I very much doubt that we'll see any major patches or anything like mod tools. The game is bal...

Which one is better than Luchs?
None of them are. Recon is one of Pact's weaknesses.

Re: Flame tanks (again). But this time, proposed solutions
Artillery is really only effective on the smaller forests - in the larger forests like those found on fulda gap, it's easy to move around and avoid the fire. Even if I lose some infantry, they're easily and cheaply replaced and meanwhile I am keeping all that artillery busy. I would also be hitting ...

Re: Why is nato so awfully bad at AA?
As opposed to the highly effective attempts at using terrible, useless units? Yep, in my experience there's lots of those players - they should stick to single player or 1v1 if they want to use lol units. Translation: if you don't play the game my way then you are dumb... Nice... If it involved blo...
