Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

The "poor" thing applies to everything though... I want to expand my East Germans for CWC and plan to get them 21 T-55A's (3 companies à 6 tanks + HQ), 12 BTR-60PB, 6 BTR-70 and 3 BTR-60PA (command vehicles). Oh and more infantry. And heavy weapons. And a MiG-23BN. And... All in all it's g...

Re: Star Trek online, anyone out there?

It looks cool. And a bit familiar, is it similar to the X-Wing board game? [...] Yes same game engine (Flightpath), but not as high-quality (I repaint all ships) and well supported as XWM (some ships you can only get as a tournament prize etc.). The dynamic is a bit different from XWM, as ships can...

Re: Star Trek online, anyone out there?

L60 Science Fleet Admiral, with a death-by-science Fleet Luna Class (T5U). Haven't played in a few months now, though. From time to time it's fun to play, but you just can't take that game seriously. If it wasn't for the Star Trek ships I probably wouldn't play it at all. Nowadays I rather pla...

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

Thanks again! Yesterday I got to play with the new terrain pieces for the first time. My glorious East Germans in their T-72 of superior design aussaulted faced a force of capitalist pig aggressors. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m224/Zerknautscher/Cold%20War%20Compendium/CWC_Randorf_001_zpspwdu...

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

Very beautiful! Do you have a pic with a 6mm tank in order to see the scale? I think i'm going to rip some ideas from you :D Rip away! :D I placed a few units for a small "diorama" http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m224/Zerknautscher/Cold%20War%20Compendium/CWC_GEF_02_zpsijoxmtbh.jpg htt...

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

Oh GW, you silly company. I'm really happy their products actually don't interest me anymore. Skitarii look cool, but I can get an army instead of a unit for the same money in 6mm. Speaking of which: I'm currently trying to restart CWC in my area (as the last time unfortunately, it didn't really &qu...

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

For vehicles GHQ is definitely the first address, I've heard good things about H&R infantry though and they are quite a bit cheaper (6€ difference where I live). I'll get a few packs soon™ and will report. H&R vehicles come from different companies that have been acquired over the years and ...
