Re: KA-50 vs M48 Chapparal (DCS)

Well landing with a plane is far more dangerous because you can only land on airfields, while a helicopter can land anywhere. So I would say helicopters are safer and therefore easier to fly.

Re: Does the naval part suck?

Arent the complaints about the naval units simply inevitable? I mean in a real battle with ships it would very much be about every ship firing what they have at the enemy until the enemy is dead. And since it is open sea there is not much hiding or tactics that are applied because there is no terrain

Re: Does the naval part suck?

I have not played it yet but it looks exactly like the complaints in the previous games, where people were too stupid to adapt to teh enemy and simply headbutted against what the enemy sent in, failed and went to the forums to complain. We had this with artillery "spam", helicopter "s...

Re: Does the naval part suck?

Is there no land based or helicopter based atgm that can handle ships? I mean most ships do outrange land units in real life and most helicopter weaponry, but larger plane A2G at least should counter them

Care to add any convincing arguments in support of your claims? Because it just sounds like you are trolling right now.

Re: Does the naval part suck?

Does not sound too bad. Actually sounds like the usual "nerf something because I am too stupid to counter it so I complain instead of figuring it out". Up there with "help artillery one shots my 30 tanks I parked in the same bush" "why is my challenger not invincible" &...

Does the naval part suck?

I heard that the naval part "sucks". Can someone explain wether it does? And if so, why that is. Have not played the beta so I am asking

Re: KA-50 vs M48 Chapparal (DCS)

There is an arcade mode? Indeed there is. The avionics of the Ka-50 are rather simple (except perhaps the ABRIS), it's the dynamics of flight that are hard. Finding some good tutorial videos on YouTube reall helps, though. Well, well thanks a lot, i might give it a try. I just need something in bet...
