I think he chose a weird place to do it.

You're right.

This is better isn't it? ;)

Nah. I would just like it to have a really tight turning radius and a lowere price.

Re: Swedish units for eventual DLC

The JAS-39 Gripen, being the pioneering aircraft design in the world using "relaxed stability", subsequently suffered a couple of serious accidents under development in the 80's and even in the early 90's, when the onboard computer glitched and failed to keep forcing the unstable planes n...

Re: MiG-29 speed boof!

For aircraft from the 1960's, sure. But that's old news; modern aircraft make use of the lifting body dynamic, where the airframe itself provides lift. Wing loading become very misleading as a way to predict maneuverability. 1. Did you read the rest?!? A low wing loading is of huge importance when ...

I don't know if this has been adressed yet so I'll do it now. The turning radius of 300m of the JAS-39 Gripen is ridiculous compared to all other fighters. Re: MiG-29 speed boof!

It is curious to note that MiG-29 versions loaded with bombs remain as maneuverable as those with pure air-to-air loadouts. This! There are more wierd differenses. JAS-39 Gripen has a pure air to air loadout and is one of the most nimble and agile jetfighters ever built, but has a turnradius that i...
