You can CCIP bomb even at level altitude, IIRC. Although I think the A-10C at least has an override which doesn't let you release.

Re: Gripen loadouts

6x AIM-120 could be interesting. No idea if it'd be a good idea or how it'd play out ingame though. Sounds like something you'd want to run on an F-16 though. All those Aimraam only missions in BMS Falcon... :D EDIT: Unless you can't actually carry the extra 2 aimraams. Then I'd be for 2x AIM-9L and...

Re: Bomb speed?

Assuming the planes are doing CCRP runs level, the speed is too fast.
Assuming they're doing CCIP diving runs, the speed is far too slow.

To me it looks like the planes are doing CCIP runs in a slight dive, so the speed is about right.

M109A2 R.C.H.A vs M109A2 H.A

For some reason, the M109A2 R.C.H.A has 5 more km/h speed, but nothing else, at the same price and availability, although fielded far later in 1981 than 1965.

I suggest giving them both 5 km/h more.

Re: Anyone else do this? (piloting aircraft third person)

Good idea, but this is a strategy game not a flight simulator. If they added this then everyone would just fly around in jets and this would ruin the entire point of wargame. TBH If you want to fly in a plane with a joystick go and play something like X Plane 10 or the DCS series. WOAH THERE, here ...

Re: Firing whilst moving

We don't WANT T-34's and other similar cheap tanks to fire on the move. It's to prevent min/maxing, and to make medium cost units worth taking. Its so they don't waste ammo. No it's not, it's so that moving, cheap units can't be rushed through lines, something popular in min-max tactics. ATGM jeeps...

Using solely realism to justify anything in an otherwise unrealistic game.
