Re: Campaign Political Points [Request]

Do a forum search first. Here is all you need: Want more political points in the SP campaign? It is in the second campaign scripting ndfbin (the smaller of the scripting ndfbins for the campaign): Example for Climb Mount Narodnaia: use the modding suite to open pc\ndf\patchable\scenario\campdyn_clim...

Re: Cluster Bombs issue.

Couldn't one reason for the cluster bomb failure be the obvious (at least to the often bullettiming singleplayers like me) graphical/animation bug that switched cluster bombs from the original wargame:alb cluster bomb behaviour (explosion above ground, submunitions fanning out to the ground) to HE b...

2nd KW Campaign ROK air units "range": Bug or bad WAD?

In the later stages of the 2nd Korean War Campaign all ROK but for the F-16 fighter squadron units become useless because they only have 5 initiative points. So if you have conquered Pjongjang you cannot transfer (assign) the F-4, A-37 and F-5 squadrons there and they become "stuck" in the...

Action points for naval battlegroups in campaigns

Some naval battlegroups in the campaigns (the carrier grous come to mind) only have two action (initiative) points. This means that if they move in a turn they cannot initiate nor participate in a attack. The irony is that if you use them to escort marine transport groups those groups can initiate n...

Re: Modding Singleplayer Campaign Political Points

The id number changes in other campaigns because more starting parameters are used. The name of the parameter for political points is InitialPoliticalPoints. In other campaigns the morale points to reach and other variables can be found among the TStrategicMapInitialisationParameters, so if you want...

Modding Infantry easier with Red Dragon?

In Wargame:ALB many infantry units shared the TModernWarfareDamageModuleDescriptor and/or the TGroupeCombatModuleDescptor or at least the TUniteBehaviourDescriptor instances. After a short look into "everything" it seems that now ervery infantry unit has its own instances of these which wo...

Re: The Holy Wholly "Pause & Order" Thread

Yes, actually re-installed the Stainless Steel 6.4 mod to Medievel Total War 2 here after I spent too much time in Japan and Middle Earth. I would very much like to spend more time in Cold War Europe but without active pause it is too much of a bother. I registered here to support those who want to ...

Re: Frustrations as a new player

We hashed this out in the "peuse&order" thread. The absence of this feature (and the eternally delayed campaign patch) is the reason I stopped playing for now. Almost every response to the OP was heavy on the "multiplayer snobbishnes" prevalent among this community which has ...
