Since this game is fiction for the sake of having China in the game America could have unified Korea in the 50's despite Chinese intervention. Then the Chinese would probably be more closely aligned with the PACT and it would give some nice new terrain for maps. Just a possibility

But is that infantry limited to paratroopers or can any infantry unit be airlifted?

Can any type of infantry be air dropped or just paratroopers and the like?

Alright and do the Brits tanks work well for an infantry commander or would i better off with a different nations doctrine?

I'm interested in this, but what exactly was the British strategy for this era?
