Re: Thw Holy Wholly "Pause & Order" Thread

- A lot of game industry research has already shown that majority of people who play SP will never ever touch MP. - According to the concept of Kano Satisfaction Levels, if a lot of competitors and industry leaders has implemented a feature for a long time, then that feature will be required to mee...

Re: Campaign - The thoughts, rant and proposals for Adjustem

I've given the Campaigns a few more attempts. First of all, let me say that I really enjoy the mechanics of the campaign itself. I like how I get pre-selected units and can grab territories and reinforcements points, keep stalling for time and then support my light battlegrous with heavier groups w...

Re: [FEATURE REQUEST] - Conquest/Sandbox mode

I don't know if the devs ever visit this, but if so...any chance we can get a "sandbox" that allows us to set up our own campaign? No turn limits...complete conquest FTW! e.g. if you want to win, you have to either kill all enemy or capture all territories. Oh, and also...if you set a uni...

Re: Thw Holy Wholly "Pause & Order" Thread

I use replay to zoom in later to look at all the pretty stuff - I like the game to be dynamic and fluid - not stop, make decision and proceed once again. Sure that can be done as well, but why not give people the choice? If Eugen says it is too difficult to code, fair enough. But if they say they c...

Re: Thw Holy Wholly "Pause & Order" Thread

OP, I totally agree. I wish I could have time to zoom in and watch the mayhem myself. Pause & order in single-player mode, most wanted. ;)

Re: About pseudo-game theory and balancing Wargame

what is realy frustrating to me is tha lak of squad KI. The Computer has the ability to realy handle every unit individually but me, as human, with one Keyboard and one mouse can't. I mentioned this in another thread as well. It'd be nice with an optional pause to give commands in single-player. Th...

The British, with their need for a cup of tea on the other hand...... ;) http://warrantless.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/asterix.png Haha, this comic was the exact reason I wrote my comment. I remember reading them a lot as a kid. After 8 hours of campaign gameplay last night, and my first ...

Re: Campaign - The thoughts, rant and proposals for Adjustem

I greatly dislike the fact that units are also not present on their last location in that fight. It seems Eugen understands this point, and as I interpret it will take this seriously when/if they rework the campaign mode. I can't picture Patton and Gerd von Rundstedt looking at their watches agreei...

Re: Modding Support

In other discussions WAB's singleplayer campaign has been compared to a modern day Total War game. Now, the TW-series must be one of the heaviest modded games around. Not for the sheer number of mods, but for the large quality mods that are still being played today on titles like Rome TW and Medieva...

Re: Campaign - The thoughts, rant and proposals for Adjustem

This is not a skirmish play or multi, this is a singler player campaign, I have never seen one where you could set the time limit yourself. Total war games, all of them. Selection between 2 or 3 different times and unlimited. I personally feel 30 min is more the mark due to the CV hunt and limited ...
