The next Wargame needs to go back in time, not forward

Possible settings for the next Wargame: First World War - Very infantry heavy, would involve some re-working of current infantry mechanics. However, I feel the engine would be very well suited for representing this type of warfare. Heavy artillery bombardment, massive infantry formations advancing i...

Re: Need War Footage replay mode (with example photos!!)

I appreciate the tipoff shomu, however I don't really want to have to give up the extra detail of RD to gain these camera options. I've been spoiled, and unfortunately I don't think I can go back to ALB any more. Everything is there. The unit detail, the map detail, the animations, etc. We just need...

Could you perhaps find the link to it?

I've been scouring W:AB noob's posts and threads, and I can't seem to find it. Would be greatly appreciated :D

Re: Need War Footage replay mode (with example photos!!)

Deadnation, I know what you mean, that video editing software is more than satisfactory for producing fan movies. But the point of a "War footage" mode would be to make every replay seem movie-like on its own merits, whilst allowing player control of camera perspective in real time. First ...

Re: Need War Footage replay mode (with example photos!!)

Another big limitation with the camera is the proximity to the ground. You can't get lower than 3 meters. It really hampers the screenshot possibilities. Still, it is possible to take some good shots regardless. http://i.imgur.com/v16kAXx.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kB8IVC4.jpg Can you imagine what this ...

Need War Footage replay mode (with example photos!!)

Okay so I mentioned this in a previous thread but now I'm really gonna push the idea. It's time Eugen gives us a mode to just sit back and enjoy the stunning visuals, after all our concentration has been spent on the battlefield. We need War Footage mode. First off, this looks good, but it's so.... ...

Re: How to disable the In-game Controller Input?

Anyone?

Does no one else think it would be cool to be able to play RD from the sofa?

How to disable the In-game Controller Input?

Hey fellas, I am attempting to make a profile for RD using the X-Padder software. The in-game camera controls from the joysticks on my 360 wired controller are interfering with the X-padder profile, and I do not know how to disable this. The camera movements are seemingly hard-coded to the joystick ...

Re: What are the 5 most powerful Nations and why?

So you're saying they're even Zerg-ier than the Norks/Chinese? If so, should I consider replacing my Chinese reservists AI spam deck? I like being able to just fight against hordes of infantry and cheap tanks for a laugh. Is Czechoslovakia better for this ultimately? Blasting through hordes of China...

Re: What are the 5 most powerful Nations and why?

Well hey now, we've got two mentions for NSWP here, one after the other. I have actually never even played with NSWP, let alone looked through the decks. It's funny, considering they are always seen as somewhat less capable in the grand scheme. Do they get their own distinct advantages like Scandina...
