Re: FOB destroying techiques

I'm not exactly sure if this fact helps, but one time in W:EE, a friend and I tried doing something utterly ridiculous. My friend made and AA fort with 4 FOB's and all the Maurder & AMX Roland 2's, Vulcans, Flakpanzers, and Stingers with Bradleys you could possibly get, and I rushed all the empt...

Updated on 1/08/14 Welcome to W:AB(& W:RD) modding! :o I assume you are pretty new at this ( I am too :? ) but I can help you out a little, in hopes that you can help others in the future. For the moment, modding tools are only available to PC players, sorry Mac & Linux. ...

Re: FOB destroying techiques

This new meta is so dumb... You obviously have not experienced the sheer joy and delight that is being able to sneaky sneaky recon infantry into your opponent's spawn and hit their EVERYTHING (CVs, arty, FOB) with impunity because they don't realize that your recon infantry is there. IT'S GLORIOUS....

Re: FOB destroying techiques

I have a ton of experience on singleplayer and therefore, a to of experience destroying FOB's. Here are my tips... Planes: Swedish SK 60B - it has two of the most overpowered missiles which can be fire-positioned for some reason. Only takes like 2 planes. Czech Su-25/Polish Mig-23 - They have the sa...

Underrated: NOAH (Buk M-1 of NATO), Jaguar w/ cluster bombs, the A-10's 30mm Gatling Gun in singleplayer, Leopard 1A5
Overrated: F-111 Aardvark, F-14 Tomcat (especially with new patch), 5-point infantry, BTR ROBOT, Challanger 1 Mk 2

Re: Choppers get bombed in flight

Oh, you must have never played Wargame: European Escalation... When there was a comp stomp game, you always knew that the "Easy" AI would spam choppers and turtle them in their main base. The only attacks would come from light ground forces. People used to make decks, just to fight Easy AI...

How did you first start Wargaming?

I'm just wondering when and how people started Wargaming. I have heard some interesting stories on global chat, and now I'm curious to know how such a small game that W:EE originally was became so popular! I first started in November of 2012, when I looked up on YouTube actual wargaming (like with l...

Re: 6 FOBS is that possible?

Or..... You can mod W:AB by going to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Wargame Airland Battle\Data\PC\2100001570, opening it up on the Edata File Manager, find the folder: pc\ndf\patchable\gfx\everything, go to TUniteAuSolDesdriptor, and find the FOB file (I'm not sure what instance # i...

Re: [HELP NEEDED] Naming ROK & NKPA units?

I am so excited to contribute! I am in the States now, but served in the Korean Army (infantry) from 1991... coincidentally the same setting of Red Dragon.. (Cool!) I was in a light artillery support company with 81mm mortars (there were also 90mm recoiless rifles in the company), so will try my bes...
