Re: Community Balance Patch

IMHO the only nation that should be using LGBs aside from the US in RD is the UK, I'd rather have the rest re-rolled but I guess I'm a bit of a purist in that sense. You do need to add Israel to the mix, as the Griffin kit was ready by 1990 IRL (tested way earlier iirc). So PGMs loadouts are very w...

Re: Community Balance Patch

The USSR and redfor in general is almost devoid of PGMs. What proliferation is there to stop? Also no matter how good you make cluster bombs, just using a smerch or ATACM is a much better investment since its invulnerable to SAMs and ASF. I agree with your suggestion however if cluster planes becom...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

This would allow for fixes for so many tanks, to use the previously mentioned T-55AM/T-62M as an example they could receive good accuracy from their Volna FCS but suffer in the aimtime due to the analogue nature of their FCS and its lesser level of integration compared to something like 1A33. If th...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

I just want to add a few more things to what Fade and Guggy have said. While I think it's difficult to argue for differences in aim times there could be a general increase to 2 or 3 seconds. The reason I chose the M60A2 was that tank had a more advanced system than any other US tank at the time, ye...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

The amount of obsolete junk in both the USSR and US tank park is a joke... The amount of redundant stuff in these is ridiculous as well. Even more modern stuff is overshadowed by other modern units. I want to use T-80BVs because I think that they are dead sexy, but nope, redundant and even UP. Godd...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

For all intents and purposes T-55s and 62s were removed from the main forces in europe as they were outdated. In fact by the late 70's and 80's almost all soviet forces in Europe had T-64s and T-80s with T-72s being mostly used by second and third echelon units, thus replacing the T-55s and 62s tha...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

It would be funny if they actually made it into a Drozd equipped unicorn, DPRK only nation that can into APS But T-62D is basically a T-62M without Volna FCS, a Soviet modification made specially for Afghanistan war. I guess that it's only the T-55AD that received the динамическая защита outside of...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

T-62D is one of the best tank around. Which north koreans never had, if i might add :3 On the basis that it's not a T-62D by the model, the stats or the nation it belongs to I think we can just assume that the 'D' is a typo. It would be funny if they actually made it into a Drozd equipped unicorn, ...

That's probably the most viable option honestly :)

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

You misunderstand me, I didn't say slower cannons should be better, just that faster cannons should not be superior at AT like they are currently. At the moment, a 2A72, which is matching or inferior to the Bushmaster in every stat but ROF will trash any Bushmaster carrying vehicle, even something ...
