Re: Should Mortars be more POWERFUL than Howitzers?(or nobody notice that)
Weren't there any airburst fuse or something ? Only time fuses (VT was US-only and never made for mortars, as for security reason VT was banned for overland use), and the Germans had a bounding 81mm round that hit the dirt, a nose charge blew it back into the air, and then the main charge went off....

Maybe. In ALB the Mk.82 500lb bomb was 227kg, while the Mk83/84 1/2,000lb bombs were 500/1,000kgSweedish_Gunner wrote:Mandolin wrote:Yes but the game uses metric.Sweedish_Gunner wrote:

So it'd be a 1,814kg bomb then.

Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?
Shermans would actually vary be between 7 and 15 FAV. Tiger 1s would only have ~11 FAV. And I can't see the Maus being added. 24/20/20/6 armor and 15kph just won't work. Probably have Jadgtiger as top German AFV. Insane frontal armor but weak sides and rear. Well, without ATGM under any bush and AT...

Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?
that is fine as long as it isnt like twenty years technologically apart We have t-34-85 to T72bu, that's the problem. It also doesnt allow more precise pricing and subtle stats like accuracy/armor balance. if the timeline is strictly, 1990-1997, with all the old units phased out, we have a lot more...

Re: CIA Tank FCS Assesments... and You
More cancerous radar recons is the last thing this game needs. Radar recon on a 6 AV tank with (currently) 12AP gun (should be 15) is WAAAY below the capacity of rival recon tanks available in other nations. But it would be limited to very good optics as France already have the RASIT. The problem w...

The hawk mm1 is a real weapon that was used by SF and a few countries your thinking of the one that appears in predator The MM-1 has never been used by any nation's military and the one one ever built is in a movie armory. Seriously, find me ANY evidence that any country has ever used it. There's n...
