Re: Infantry weapons rebalance.

Standardization makes balance a nightmare because Eugen controls less. Look at ALB where guns were more or less standardized. Infantry was a min max fest where you went for the best transports and AT weapon. (Exception given to SF.) I have no issue with there being classes of infantry weapons to mak...

Re: aussie paratroops

Could ANZAC get a Shock sapper team or NZAS with the Milan F1?

Also Highlander's really need love, but other than that CW infantry is fine.

I guess UK inf is redundant as hell but it works, Paratroopers with L86 and price buff might be neat as a pure AT shock (VDV 90) but overall fine.

Re: Leave no man behind: WGermany

Dedicated MG teams are too specific for current scale. If you bought teams and not squads I would agree. Yeah but having Smaw teams and or ATGM teams or recon sniper teams or in this case the Deckungsgruppe? Those are all specialized elements with special weapons while in real life a 10 man squad i...

Re: Infantry weapons rebalance.

There is no difference worth modeling between PKM and MG3 and M60 and MAG at this scale. None at all. You can't have infantry squads be clones though. Just pretend the characteristics abstract represent NCO, doctrine, troop quality, etc. They aren't clones because they have different AT weapons or ...

Re: ATGM changes by QUAD

But wat about the Hellfire 8km and Ataka V? 6km? The real answer is "lol I don't know" because 5500m HJ-9 and 25+ km NLOS Spike have the same range. I don't really think that the HJ-9 deserves 2975m range in game, IMO it could go to 2800m and this would be compensated by a price and avail...

Re: ATGM changes by QUAD

If i knew how to mod I would implement both changes to ATGMs (mine, and act increases) to see which is better. I'm thinking of turning TDs into more aggressive units that can advance into cover, take shots, and retreat: furthermore, range nerfs to the Milan to 2275 is actually realistic and would le...

ATGM changes by QUAD

ATGMS ATGMs are not fine. Only highest AP ones/high speed ones are worth taking with the BMP-3 being the sole exception, and ATGMs are only good at defending at maximum range. Light ATGM units are almost never taken because they don't have enough meaningful attributes beyond the weapon system that'...
