Re: Thoughts on artillery mechanics and how to improve them

trying to catch up on a lot said, very pedantic about what an actual helo rush is, get some quick early recon, hold some points back, if rush is happening spawn AA? (i'm not pro) some ideas, although pretty much repeating whats been said in the last page or 2. - original base spawn, units were invu...

Re: Thoughts on artillery mechanics and how to improve them

A helo rush is when a person starts the game by attempting to kill the start zone CV with helicopters. It is not whatever you just tried to say. And the rest of that was complete fiction. A "small contingent" of AA should always be present, not just for helo rushing. And that is why a hel...

Re: Map: Strait to the Point (Why so popular?)

As mentioned before it is (probably, I am not completely sure why) the static thing and artillery camping that let's this map exist and be played so much. Against all odds it is possible that a breakthrough can be reached (I played a lot in the non-naval version) with a good team or when you joined ...

Re: Thoughts on artillery mechanics and how to improve them

Helo rush in itself is an option available for solving a lot of tactical problems, especially in the beginning. From what I have seen so far (mostly in the area o 4v4 and 10v10) a helo rush in the beginning phase is: #1 either a good diversionary tactic, diverting enemy forces to counter this threat...

Re: The Marder 2 is pointlessly bad at this point

To the guy that started this discussion for, as it seems like, the second time now. I have a few questions and I would kindly ask you to answer them for me, so I can understand your position. 1. How long do you play the game now (hours are fine for me just to know)? 2. are you a huge fan of Bundeswe...

Re: Official next plans?

I ain't in the position to give you a certain yes or no, but as it looks like Wargame Red Dragon is dead for Eugen Systems. Support (multiplayer) will be there but new nations, units, maps etc. will probably not follow up.
Sorry to say.

Re: brief ootf question

As we have officially moved into the latter half of the Year of Our Lord Twenty Hundred and Seventeen, I find myself curious... of a fact never fully explained... Why is the [F&F] Hellfire and Ka-52 fantasy SEAD in Wargame's timeframe? Surely the game would always have been better off without e...

Re: [Non-included Coalition] Neutral Central Europe (Austria+Switzerland)

From what I think there is little chance for Austria/Switzerland to be implemeted into the game. Stell Division 44 is just around the corner and Eugen doesn't care about Red Dragon anymore. And a Wargame 4 is probably not in sight for either a long time or forever. So, although the hard work here (w...

Nun gut, Marder 2 is...

Re: Änderungen für Bundeswehr-Deck

Allgemeine Fragen 1.
