Re: Constructive criticism, game's timeline

Its fine and fair that you want to capture the 1975-1990 of the Cold War era, and seeing M1IPs and T-72As duelling in a 1985 game is pretty much why people buy the game, for the authenticity. You do realize you just implied no one buys this game because of it simply being a good game , right? Some ...

Re: Will this take off again? (authentic decks?)

As much as I love the cold war equipment, the fact is reality, when it comes to the military, is a mean mother. To say it is restrictive would be saying little. So many units not adopted due to non-military concerns, so many formations and battlegroups that severely hamper play style and variety... ...

Re: Units availability rate as a possible game option

What they need to do is tie game acc to forum acc. Have a separate balance forum and disallow the following groups of people from posting in it: People who play 10v10 regularly People who play non-standard income or non-standard map size regularly People who don't have a >50% win rate People who do...

Re: MI-40?

That isn't why the Chimera is in the game, the reason the Chimera made it in is because Canada doesn't have any heavy armor, and the Chimera fills that gap. The problem with your argument is that by the same logic, we should be adding things like CATTB, Obj 477, etc, and we'd be playing an RTS vers...

Re: MI-40?

Don't think I'll ever get the community issues over Chimeras and other such units. A big part of the fun in games featuring massive war scenarios is getting to use prototypes or even just designs that didn't get built in peace time. For example, as an Ace Combat veteran, I've always loved being able...

Re: What kind of deck do you plan on making?

Probably remake my Portuguese deck with the few new units it "gets" (AML, etc.). Would go Swedish next if they didn't get the shaft, so I guess I'll just be waiting for the glorious Gripen a bit.

Re: North Korean tanks without any Strelas?

Just to clarify the old T-90S issue: some time ago, when Great Leader, The Second toured Russia, he visited Omsktransmash. And rumor has it he bought a single T-90 on the spot, likely for study and reverse engineering purposes.

Small problem: this happened in 2003.

...oh, wait. :/
Make it ANZAC them. They're swell and the change of "flying" a Kahu Skyhawk is too good to pass up.
