Re: Prometheus \o/

I am a fan of Alien vs Predator and indeed all sci-fi, but I'm afraid for me that the word "prometheus" will always remind me of the USS Prometheus , a starfleet prototype assault vessel - Star Trek universe! :D ...which needed to be saved by two HMDs, one from 70 000LY away... brilliant ...

Re: Loading hangs when opponents quit

I was Tigga's teammate in both of these 2v2 ranked games. It might just be my imagination but it seems to happen more often in 2v2 ranked than in any other game mode! The one where a player gets stuck disconnecting is especially annoying because you take a loss on ELO points!

Re: Rivers of Bloody Awful

I agree, I hate this map 1v1. I also agree that fulda gap is similar, though 2v2 Fulda gap can be quite nice. I don't really enjoy rivers of blood 2v2 either, mainly due to the frequent stalemate lines and those damned hills with their awkward LOS! p.s good work on the thread title ~ Indeed, Swiftia...

Re: Ranked Reboot Request

Oh yes, I do enjoy league games. You and me varis we are both currently taking part in the 2v2 League on WCCL :) - Some of the best games I've had in the entire game. I can understand that some people don't like competition, but for me it's just that on-edge feeling, win or lose! For the league game...

Re: How to make the game more intense

1. Economy: Make reinforcement points trickle in faster I think this might be a bit of a novel discussion, as there hasn't been many suggestions for changing the economy itself. But if reinforcement points would trickle in faster, it would help with rearming for the next battle. No endless minutes ...

Re: Ranked Reboot Request

A random, well sized map is chosen meaning teams can't plan ahead, there are constant amounts of points to get comfortable with, and you have no idea of who you are about to play. The random map is probably the biggest reason I don't like ranked - some things (e.g. Helo INF build) only work reasona...

Re: Ranked Reboot Request

Really? I'd say 75% of my 65hrs in game are ranked games and I find that the game is usually decided within the first 10mins. One side takes more income, more map control and has more points. The rest is an uphill battle which very rarely succeeds... EDIT: Though I do prefer timed games myself too, ...

Ranked Reboot Request

Okay, So ranked 1v1s are pretty easy to find. This is good, but what about the rest? I'm mainly concerned with getting regular games in the ranked 2v2 ladder, but in this wonderful wargame, ranked 3v3s and 4v4s are also possible! Imagine that - quadruple the amount of players gaining/losing ranks at...
