I feel Blowpipe is one of those instances where game balance takes priority over authenticity.

For 105 points you get a plane that has an extremely high chance to insta gib literally any tank on the first run, it's the worst plane of it's line, yet is shares the same accuracy traits as the better aircraft and still gets both missiles off in one run, wth is the thinking behind this aircraft, ...

Why not instead introduce a rank decay? For example, if you don't play any ranked games for a week you start losing 2^N-1 points (where N = the number of days since the week you didn't play ranked) until it stops at 1500?
