Re: [Balance report]Medium AI is much better than some players

I believe when someone left the game there are only 2 reasons: one is bad network, and another is facing a bad situation(going to lose the game). But AI saved their ass :D . You mean the ass of the players that don´t deserve to lose because their asshole teammate decided to just up and leave, right?

Re: Satchel Charges and Flamethrowers

Yeah, I know my argument was not that strong. But how do you suggest fixing these things, then? They have a very specific purpose and they suck out of it due to low numbers, and being infantry. Making them smaller, more expensive, or less powerful won´t really nerf them so much as make them utterly ...

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong

Look Tiger's really aren't all you make them out to be. They have so many setbacks that were just highlighted, yet you ignored them as if they don't matter. Only two setbacks have been pointed out: they are expensive, and they are on divisions with theoretically weak early games. Both points are ea...

Re: Satchel Charges and Flamethrowers

With at least one third of the maps being forest areas, flamethrower infantry (not those 2-man teams, but 6-11 man teams in the infantry tab) are the gamey units of SD. Unless you got flamers of your own, those push through forests literally unopposed. Its almost like we are back in AirLand Battle....

Re: Satchel Charges and Flamethrowers

They have 100m range... I would consider that a pretty big disadvantage already.

Re: Off map heavy bomber raid for allies (in expansion or the next game)

24 July – Some 1,600 bombers flew in support of the opening bombardment for Cobra. Due to bad weather they were unable to see their targets. Although some were recalled, and others declined to bomb without visibility, a number did, which hit U.S. positions. Twenty-five were killed and 131 wounded i...

Re: Aerial Recon

They give you an early advantage in the game that can snowball if the enemy has no AA in his opening, or you have the appropriate forces to exploit the recon. That is it. Do not underrate them or overrate them.

Re: CMP Tri-Polsten, brokenly good?

Doesn´t seem fair to me that only tri-polstens get to shoot down planes. Not when weapons with higher caliber or better fire rate can´t do it.

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong

King Tigers are high reward, low risk units because they are pretty much impossible to kill from the front, and tanks turn around way too fast and accuracy is way too low to flank them and hit them from range. They don´t need to "pay for themselves" by killing enemy units if you can just h...

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong

Personally, while I love SD and find it more playable than Wargame, I think it is starting to show one or two problems Wargame had. Specifically, low-risk high-reward units that pulverize the opponent. King Tigers and rocket artillery, for the most part. It does not help that the main counter agains...
