[MOD] Wargame: 1991

WARGAME: 1991 https://i.imgur.com/s06JPJu.png It’s 1991, and communism didn’t fall. Now, the world stands on the brink of a war... WARGAME 1991 is an extensive modification of Red Dragon that updates each nation’s arsenal to their 1991 capabilities. The armoury is no longer filled with rusting T-34...

Re: [Non-included Coalition] Neutral Central Europe (Austria+Switzerland)

Munitions for the Swiss Blindicides I came across some info about Raketenrohr 58 and 58/80 almost by complete accident, in this budget and Zur Kriegstauglichkeit des Raketenrohrs der Schweizer Armee in Gegenwart und Zukunft (Flückiger, Lorenz, 1984) which gave me the following penetration figures f...

Re: [Non-Included Nation] BLUE CHINA - Republic of China (Taiwan)

It should be noted that the M60A3 and the M1A1 have the same FCS with two exceptions. Firstly, the M1A1's FCS has about 20% digital components, whereas the M60A3 has no digital components. Secondly, the M1 version of the FCS incorporates a muzzle reference system. Since this is not present on the CM...

HrcAk47 wrote:You know, M-84s and Igmans (Mattis and Pionpsv too) could have easily gotten 70% acc. Remember Strv 105? Same FCS. :^)

Ah, thank you for reminding me!

Overmodelled:
Strv 105

(Also the Leopard 1A5NO2.)

Re: Anyone here play tabletop roleplaying games?

http://i.imgur.com/oP1RFko.jpg I'm thinking of running a game of Phoenix Command , a hardcore ballistics simulator (and tabletop wargame and roleplaying game) from the mid-80's. In particular, I've been thinking of running a Cold War tank game using the game's Mechanized Combat System expansion, wh...

Re: [Non-included Nation] PAKISTAN

MP5 - I'm actually seeing quite a lot of these in infantry units in photographs. Perhaps a newer thing but interesting. Pakistan uses the system where SMGs and rifles are mixed within a squad, similar to how a lot of things were during WWII and the Australian squad loadout in Vietnam (where the 'Co...

Can you read Hungarian? Page 148 to 152. What does it say about Wargame-relevant systems, like the Vasilek?

Also, you shouldn't happen to know where one could find out what the 8th Five Year Plan for Hungary said on the subject of military procurement?

Re: [Non-included Coalition] Neutral Central Europe (Austria+Switzerland)

Stupid unit idea time: Hunter T.74 EW [...] The pod alone could be argued to grant roughly 40% ECM on the basis that it's an RWR (10%), a late model Western jammer (20%) and implies that the aircraft is a dedicated EW platform (10%). "Technically, dropping a bunch of napalm on the enemy air de...

Re: An Idea

In the very early days of armed helicopters one of the test pilots took up a handful of rockets to try them out. When he got to the range, he lined up on the target, pushed the trigger and there was a loud whooshing noise but no rocket streaked towards the target. Perplexed, he fired the rest of th...

Re: Hâyard Günnes LP

Don't forget the somewhat slower-to-update ground ops efforts of small-unit operations. Currently there's only been one mission, but it was a fun one!
