Re: New version (v557)

No, you see, there's definitely a malign conspiracy to overpower one side in a video game. That's what video game devs do on purpose. Wake up sheeple.

Re: New version (v366)

SPAAGs, ATGMs, the grenade launcher infantry, cluster & napalm artillery were all things that urgently needed addressing. I'll agree it's questionable whether SPAAGs needed nerfing that badly.

Re: Changing the Tanks Meta for the Better + Analysis

This thread is certainly going places. The competition is fierce, but who will win the strawman cup?

Re: Changing the Tanks Meta for the Better + Analysis

The tanks would have to be around as cheap as Vasily suggested in order for the proposed changes to have more than a cosmetic effect on the armoury. Given all the ways in which you can kill them, tanks just die a lot. It needs to be economical to suffer inevitable losses in the process of assaultin...

Re: Changing the Tanks Meta for the Better + Analysis

As always I rarely agree with another forum members but yeah in this case price reduction seems justified to bring tank as the main actor. Maybe not as much as Vasily suggest (or at least not now, baby step and all). I like the idea of having a low (crap) tier tank costing as much as a top cobra's ...

Re: Add "Mobile Houses"

Indeed, you have the things the wrong way round friend; we love infantry combat and want more of it incorporated into the game. Here's a concept of two mobile houses fighting each other: http://s30.postimg.org/3k8wn3tr1/Imperator_Titan_vs_Ork_Mega_Gargant.jpg If you look carefully you can see how th...

Re: What was the reason behind the limited amount of units?

It's based partly on the notion that as the game is set up to 1985, units produced closer to that time or beyond it (prototypes) will be in more limited supply than older vehicles, as they are still in the process of being produced and distributed. It encourages a certain level of conservation and r...

Re: New 1v1 maps getting far too large

Besides, man could make the exact opposite argument of yours : ranked players have a much narrower experience of the game as they focus especially on one tiny part of it. Oh sure theoretically a ranked player could play a bit of everything, but then again so could a non ranked player. Stalemate. It...

Re: New 1v1 maps getting far too large

I do think you can make a strong case for Ornskoldsvik specifically to be removed from 1v1 map rotation. I know that at least one of the usual suspects who came into this thread does not have an ELO ranking. That is relevant, because 1v1 ranked map rotation only affects people who play ranked match...
