Maybe it's not necessary to have a big one, it's a slow and low flying plane.

I've heard many players saying that the missile never hits even having 70% accuracy, but it worked fine for me so far, only rare case of misses.

Not completely sure but you may have installed the low quality texture instead of the high quality one.
