Re: About the promised buffs to RD

The reload time is the same, resulting in higher overall rof. Longer salvo lengths also tend to mean lower supply costs per shot, presumably because in the data supply costs are set per salvo. It gets even worse if you're shooting the same place, because aimtime is not accounted for when calculating...

Re: About the promised buffs to RD

As I suggested a llllooonnnggggg time ago, PION/MALKA should only put out 2 round bursts just like the M110s. 2 rounds only eliminates the babysitting that they require, and would be a huge buff for them. The current is what, 6 rounds? Been forever since I used them, but 6 rounds at their horrible ...

Re: Tips for Multiplayer

For finding opponents, host your own lobby and kick experienced players. Or join others if you must but religiously check winrates.

Re: Pact transport ship cannons, SAVA, shanghai and the NATO bias.

You could remove 75% of units of non-DLC PACT/NATO nations and you'd see no effect in the game in terms of units scoring kills ingame (especially ranked). But its eugen policy not to remove units once they've been placed into the game. You can nerf them into uselessness, but they will never get rem...

Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

Doesn't sound much different from how things are currently. Most maps you generally only have 1 CV per lane plus one back in the spawn. The issue is that the frontline system would heavily telegraph where your CV is. If only a handful of units affect the frontline, all you need is to draw a perpend...

Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

no please don't, it would be awful considering the higher mobility of Cold War/modern weaponry. You realize that most of that "higher mobility" is just grossly over modeled, right? One thing I like about SDN is how it slows down ground units considerably. Even with lightning fast units li...

Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

I guess one thing regarding CV sniping would be, with a frontline mechanic pushed by only one unit per section per side, that one unit would be fairly easy to find and cluster.

Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

Need to make cv a lot cheaper , avail and log needs to have more spots and cheaper AP If you look at a clown mod where CVs are 30pts, there's no point to sneaking to kill a CV when your sneaky unit costs as much as the CV, and buying or losing a CV has no effect on the tempo of the game. The old 30...
