i want DOW1 with good pathfinding, not Company of Warhammer again. i dont care about the tabletop tactical roots, DOW1 was a great vanilla RTS. It worries me how many people are wanting a dawn of war II remake..... Theres a reason more people play dawn of war 1 then 2 now iirc. And DoW 1 was an awe...

Mmh, yeah, imo new units wouldn't be very productive at this stage. we already have plenty of units, and the goal is certainly to tweak the balance in order to smooth the role of the "multi-purpose" units, and give a better utility to all those that are currently clearly underused. Because...

Map creation tools could be great.

Back in the AoW days, community map packs were really excellent and they brought a notable value to the game. Henri666, Dark, plenty of talented creators shared a huge bunch of good maps, even if the official ones are great.

Or in theory we could simply just produce a humvee more, embark the already existing infantry in it with one or two more produced ones, and rush even more :lol: . I think the same imbalances would stay if units were added at start. Or it would have to be some sort of "lieutenant Jefferson"...

The only thing that could use some tweaks about the income buildings are their prices. they could cost more 7000/7500 oil to make them a little harder to build and advantage a bit more the active, PoW harvesting strategy. Otherwise they're fine imo, they have a good value at end game and in long tea...

To my sense all units deserve to have better HP levels. Along with higher prices. One without the other lead to what you say i agree. It's a matter of scale, of proportions. All units should cost 1.5 or 2x more, but have 1.5 or 2x more HP. with higher curves as we go to the higher tiers and the best...
