Re: Mortar moral damage against tanks could use a good nerf

i do not consider "panicking" a tank to be thesame as killing it. [...] personally id be against this notion as it makes heavy tanks EVEN more powerfull. and theyre good enuff as it is imo. That is the problem. Mortars enable you to stun/panic your enemy tank with 100% accuracy to make is...

Re: Mortar moral damage against tanks could use a good nerf

I can't support this suggestion. 81 and 107mm mortars do very little actual damage - especially the smaller caliber. Knocking down their suppression would seriously undermine their battlefield usefulness. Well, the problem is that their suppression is way of the board against tanks. Infantry being ...

Re: Long Range (Anti-Helicopter) AA and Availability

Good save :) Might be a good idea to throw the vanilla tracked rapier into the mix, its base availability is 6/4 and its kind of shitty unless your opponent is dumb enough to spam a giant conga line of choppers to its exact position on the map. My point was to look at AA with more than 2800m range....

Re: Long Range AA (Anti-Helicopter) and Availability

Despite what the card says, the Crotale is not IR (as you can see, it's [GUID]). It is a command-guided system, much like the Rapier. And, much like the Rapier, it can choose to track targets using either optical/IR imaging or radar. Oops. You are totally correct. Will edit the title a little to ha...

Long Range (Anti-Helicopter) AA and Availability

Okay, another issue that is important to me: the state of non-radar, long-range AA, more in terms of availability than cost. First of all, let’s do a little comparison. We got as dedicated helo-killers and stand alone launchers the Crotale/HQ-7, two variants of the Chaparral which are worth mentioni...

Re: Please buff ANZAC, Czechoslovakia, Canada and DPRK

I've seen some bad decks in my life; but if either Corn or Razzmann think those are actually decent- Having a load of diverse and terrible units isn't worthwhile. You're better off just having a bulk of cost-effective/overall good stuff. Well Razzmann removed us pretty easily with his Czech deck la...

Re: Please buff ANZAC, Czechoslovakia, Canada and DPRK

No T-72M2 Wilk? :o (And no Sopel jesus?) I don't think that much of the other Wilk, and I took the Shilka over the Sopel. I could take both, but the Grom and Neva are fairly solid. Before this thread is locked I'll just say that we all know the main weaknesses of the Czechs, but they aren't really ...
