Re: Fine tuning Scandinavia

More front AV? huh. Didnt know that? edit: ah the glacis. i 'member. Yeah. The Swedish military also (rather ambiguously) mentions the turret as being reinforced: http://www.forsvarsmakten.se/sv/information-och-fakta/materiel-och-teknik/mark/stridsvagn-122/ "Fronten på chassit är förstärkt med...

And front*.

Really the RBS 56 buff is the most realistic to expect.

Re: Fine tuning Scandinavia

How so, specifically? It would require more than a retexturing. And what actual model changes would be required from the Leo 2A5? A new scope? See T-72family for how wildly inaccurate the models can be and Eugen will still be fine with them. AFAIK there are three main visual differences: 1. The Str...

Re: Fine tuning Scandinavia

I think I need to mention again how futile I think it is to ask for models, ESPECIALLY ones that have been rejected. They are working on new games and old factions don't bring in DLC monies so how in the world is anyone expecting things like Strv 2000 or 122 to make it into the game? 122 is not a n...

Re: Fine tuning Scandinavia

Silly. Why should Sweden get a vehicle they never wouldve gotten if it werent for the cold war ending? And giving them a better 2A5 than germany? I wouldnt call that a reasonably logical thing to do. :) Actually, FMV seems to disagree: https://www.fmv.se/Global/Bilder/Projekt/Stridsfordon%20121,122...

Re: Fine tuning Scandinavia

Yes. Giving Sweden a Leo 2A5 clone wouldn't be such a huge deal at this point. An M1A1 for ANZAC's wouldn't bother anyone much as well I'd suspect. Strv 122 is not a 2A5 clone anymore than the M84 is a T-72 clone. IIRC it has reinforced front and top armor as well as improved FCS and optics which w...

Re: Fine tuning Scandinavia

Scandinavia has no good way to deal with superheavies, not even planes. It would not be a big problem from a gameplay perspective imo. Wouldn't the Strv 122 be a better choice than to open the 140mm doors? Yes. Giving Sweden a Leo 2A5 clone wouldn't be such a huge deal at this point. An M1A1 for AN...

Re: The Non-Soviet Worst Pact Fine-Tuning Thread.

What assessment is that? He wrote EB was able to beat USSR. Did they merely look at RED vs RED games and tally EB vs USSR wins or what? Did you even put a short thought into what data they would have to see to come to this conclusion? Or just eat whatever you're presented. http://forums.eugensystem...

Re: Units (Within Timeframe!) That You'd Like To See But You Know You Absolutely Won't

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/aravm98/Current%20Modeling%20Projects/xp705tw74.jpg Should have been in ALB, along with half the planes of the RAF that were omitted. Maybe one day. I mean yes but what would it actually do? Red Top was a decent missile for its time so let's make it a statclone...
