Re: Chinese Units in Wargame Red Dragon

Anyway, some units without any sort of radar have exceptional optics. There are quite a few jeeps like this. If you use an exceptionally powerful camera, it could work as exceptional optics. I won't conclude anything on this helicopter, I don't know anything about the optical equipment shown and if ...

Great Leader is proud of his anti-air commandos.

Their power comes from their b**bies. Show boobs to pilot ---> pilot drooling ----> get a Zastava rifle shot in the head by her hidden teamate ----> helo crash.

Re: Hilarious physics bug

Yes I know, but I meant that dropping so much bomb is an urge that is hard to resist for me even if it's irrational. :D

Re: Soviet Units in W:RD

Meh, ask Eugen. Il-102 doesn't bring anything interesting besides the tail gun, and that could have been accomplished by giving China and DPRK the H-5. And we could add that the IL-102 was in competition with the Su-25 and the later was choosen because it was superior. On a gameplay perspective, th...

Re: Air Force considers scrapping entire A-10 fleet.

If I understand your point correctly Panzer, the US Air Force has a kind of aristocratic attitude. CAS is just too vulgar for them to do. Only launching ultra accurate missiles from hundreds of kilometers away is worthy of them. How dare you asking us to get our hand dirty, you little arrogant commo...

Re: The role of the Navy

The problem is, basically, that the ocean is wide open, and there are no really sophisticated detection mechanics in RD. The ranges are so long that there isn't a whole lot of room to maneuver, and every blue water combat ship does pretty much everything; there really aren't well-defined roles. Eve...

Re: Air Force considers scrapping entire A-10 fleet.

If they had a good successor. Reaper Cobra Apache etc The air picture has changed since the A-10 was introduced, and the loitering role only works against insurgents (in which case said vehicles are better) and third world militaries with no IADS (in which case multirole fighters and dedicated bomb...

Re: The role of the Navy

(2): Why does it give anti ship weapons? how are they different from guided missles? I think they are not torpedoes aren't they, so i think they are needless, hellfires and other guided missles should work as well. AND this whole blufor/redfor planes and helis are not longer needed. I don't underst...
