Re: Tank destroyers

Use them for ambushes. They are especially good in these apple farms. If you have nothing fireing at enemy tanks they tend to come closer. Wait till they are around 800m away. Send a inf-squad out the field first, to tank the first shot, followed by the tank destroyer. You will be likely to kill the...

Re: Bail out, tracks broken and other crits affter succesfull bombing and rocket run.

Additional to what Pzaz04Maus notet, Bombs and Rockets, especially Rockets where really unstable in flight. Dispersion was high, what addet massively to the inacurancy of this weapons besides the problem of actually aiming.

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong

Sorry but I cant agree. The King Tiger is only good when you are already ahaed. If you are behind it is a totally pointless unit. (I never play destruction, so i cant tell there). First the KT is only in Divisions that are pretty weak in the early game, especially Panzer-Lehr. They have almost no in...

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong

If you allow the enemy to collect 380 points its your fault that he has a King Tiger on the field. Even in Panzer lehr it takes 4 minutes in Phase B and 3 Minutes in Phase C (where you will have 70 additional points to spend) to buy one. If you face divisions that can field the King Tiger you have t...

Re: Strange Falling Back Behavior

First, sorry for the Necro but I didnt wanted to open a new Topic. Anyway back to my proposal. The falling back is still a bit strange, to say it in the best way. A falling back occurs when the unit hits the full stress or is pinned down and you tell them to (inf). While for infantry its not that bi...

Re: The function of AA?

1. They think can but the chance is really low so dont bet on it. 2. No they are not they have a different task than shooting down Aircrafts 3. Yes it is 4. Idk The way AA works is not in any-case to shoot down the enemy aircraft rather then to root it. Now the closer your AA is to the front the hig...

Re: Asymetric balance of Jerries VS allies in Normandy 44

Aswell as the recoil in MGs and Cannons in Wings can lead to vibrations. The same also happens in the hull, but the hull is stiffer than the wings that are rather flexible. This leads to a higher precision for hull mounted weapons, but wing mounted weapons during WW2 had the advantage to spread the ...

Re: Phase system & ideal time length of game for ranked play.

Do be honest the 40min seems to be the best option. I mean you are 20min into phase C when the game ends. I played longer games, and they end up in a giant arty-party. If both sides (no matter what decks you play) get dug up while the map is about split in half, the only way to outperform your enemy...

The thing is that it also should be able to be manned by opposing forces then.

Re: Let vehicles recover from "Bailed out" critical

To be honest if it happens against me, i take the Bailed out crit over all the "blow up" penetrations. In general, from my experience, you get 1 bailed out for 10 penetrations. So it is more likely to get destroyed then bailed out. Now for the gameplay, and why I enjoy this crit a bit more...
