Re: What's broken...Planes or AAA

As far as I see right now, AA needs a bit more "suppression". I havent played since last patch, but in 99% of the case the attacking Aircraft will reach its target before the Stress leads to a return. If you have 2 or 3 AApieces in range, a single plane should be forced to retreat before i...

Re: Why does the Finnish F/A-18C Have better ECM?

What about looking outside of Europe? Indias got an up-and-coming indigenous aircraft industry. Maybe the Tejas? Are there export versions? I think only India uses them and i dont know if they actually actively try to sell them. I am not in the evaluation comitee so I cant tell them what to look in...

Re: Why does the Finnish F/A-18C Have better ECM?

Our Tigers are older than me, they literally fall apart, we have only about 50% left of the purchased amount, and the last attempt to buy new planes (gripen) was to replace them. Yeah, I can quite imagine. I'd have recommended something that you can buy new with the same sort of capabilities but th...

Re: Why does the Finnish F/A-18C Have better ECM?

I am Actually not sure if the F35 would fit. The F-35C might. Just checked it out, i think all variants would fit, as they are smaller than the F18. Do you actually know if the F35 can mount a search light to identify aircrafts during night missions. IIRC this was also one of the points during the ...

Re: Why does the Finnish F/A-18C Have better ECM?

EDIT: I probably should have mentioned that the FAF is speculated to be in talks with Lockheed Martin for the aircraft, as are Switzerland, Belgium, and Spain. Spain is the least likely current customer, I feel inclined to mention, and they probably won't be buying them until their Harriers have so...

Re: Matchmaking and competative gameplay

Maybe, just maybe it would be great to "steal" the SC2 matchmaking system, aswell as the arcade mode. In the normal mode you play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 ranked, maps (chosen from a map-pool) and settings are fixed. You can form a team or go alone and get matched against another team or randome...

Re: Destructable Buildings?(?)

Will be hard to implement i think, as partially destroyed buildings increase the defenders advantage in case of infantry warfare (cover, concealment) it limits the use of heavy weaponery inside the town massively. loads of roads will be blocked by debries. This limits the possibility for counter off...

Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?

Ranked games would be in the 1991 era. Do you realize how many decks that would kill? I would go so far that with certain balance changes almost every deck would be valid. It would hit most major decks similar. All the super heavies would be ruled out, aswell as certain fancy units(Longbow, KA50/52...

Re: Bumbar is from 2005 and didn't enter service until 2012. Why is this in the game?

The one thing that we have to keep in mind is, that we play in an alternative timeline, therefore certain REDFOR Nations have to get a special treatment. We have a cutoff at 1996. This is 5 years after the fall of the USSR. In this five years loads happened IRL. Therefore you have to bump up the tim...
