Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?

What I would like is to implement a new "Era":

1991. This would just remove all proto units at all.

Then change the "open" pick, which includes all units to -5AP. Ranked games would be in the 1991 era. This would remove all the unicorns and you then balance it around 1991.

Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?

I dont think this will be achievable for WG. Just imagine the what REDFOR would do against an exceptional stealth 50ecm F-22 Raptor. No Red unit would be in able to touch it in this timeframe. Even if it would cost 250CP, this one plane would dominate the sky so much, as you will never be able to a...

Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?

If you meant in game with IG, i dont think so. The plane is generally invisible like the Nighthawk. While the nighthawk is slow and has 0 ECM it is practically dead if engaged after it releases its payload. On the other hand a fighter with that kind of stealth would after detection still be a 50ECM...

Re: Leave no man behind: WGermany

In my oppinion only a few changes would make the Bundeswehr more efficient and a good partner in EC. INF: Change Jäger back to 10points. The reason it went up to 15 was because pre-ifv-patch the 16points on the AT were too good. This is not the case anymore, it needs now two shots for most meta-ifv ...

Re: Why does the Gepard A2 not have a EOTS in WG?

IR pieces that use an external searching radar would not lose accuracy as the rocket is not guided (F&F), especially the ones that use optical tracking. What really should be way worse of non-Radar pieces is the Air-detection.

Re: Mig 29/Su 27 speed

having the ability to go supersonic should not be at all a factor for how fast a plane in WG-RD is. This is not exactly true. Even the oldest supersonic AC can fly at any altitude very high subsonic speed in ASF config. So giving 750 km/h top speed for supersonic jets is simply insane... Even with ...

Re: Mig 29/Su 27 speed

... having the ability to go supersonic should not be at all a factor for how fast a plane in WG-RD is. The only thing that should be taken into account is the actuall speed at which the plane is most efficient for its role. Releasing a iron bomb at 1500km/h will end up in an accuracy of around 0%....
