Putting to much weight on a plane is also human error.

Re: About the 2 New Mig-29

Because in aviation, weight rating exist for a reason. anything above that and integrity and proper functioning cannot be guaranteed as such, seperation issues, cracks in wings can all occur. Hence nobody in their right mind would load ordinance that exceeds the weight onto a pylon unless they are ...

Re: About the 2 New Mig-29

By the way, I wonder what do you have with planes in real life? Are you a pilot/mechanic or a bookmonger? Let's see, my uncle was a pilot in the USAF (F-111F co-pilot, then F-15, then F-16, then desk, now golf carts) and that kinda had me interested in flight sims. From there, I planned to go into ...

Re: Power creep?

On the other hand yugo rec seems subpar It is in coalition with cssr, it will be the best recon tab. What will in best case leave you with 4 of them, even i think it will be only three tanks. Do you really wanna spend 2-3AP for 3 recon tanks, especially when you only have 55AP. It will be a damn st...

Re: Power creep?

There was the rule: no heavy tanks in the recon tab. As I remember this was the reason half blue tanks are not in the recon tab. Hmm still i dont mind this one, i might wouldnt even pick it except you play 4 people on a 2v2 map. On the other hand yugo rec seems subpar, you only have regular inf, an...

Re: Power creep?

How can you say the stats of protos are realistic? Weren't half of them just on paper? E.g. how can you say the stats on the stealth tank are accurate? its the way the recon tab works. It follows the same pattern as the Dutch Leo 1 Verkenning, which IRL was used in dedicated Recon formations, and a...

Re: LUL

What is the actual reason to ask for the F18 ASF for USA? I still dont get this discussion, you could then decide between the 1EliteF15 or 1EliteF18 that are stat-clones of each other and at the end you still take the F16 as you get two of them that are good enough for all the things you need it. N...

Re: Proposing intermediate small arms calibre/suppression

I think lethality is not the point in warfare anyway. Loads of points go into the use of 5.56 over 7.62 for the standart AR. (weight, ballistics, and more) Even in war you normally don't look for the kill but to stop the enemy from fighting. Any hit will in 95% of the cases cause an inability in fig...

Re: Proposing intermediate small arms calibre/suppression

A realistic system for suppression shouldnt rely on the caliber at all. If you hide behind a wall you dont care what kind of bullets fly at you, the more that come the less you wanna leave cover to engage. Caliber (or penetration) only has influence if you can kill/wound something behind the cover, ...
