Re: Tanks vs Inf in buildings

Tanks are just really cost inefficient in urban combat. Just look what happened in Grozny in the early 90s. We can actually be happy that the WG engine cannot produce top-attack for urban fights. As soon as a building has more than 2 floors you would attack a tank from the top with an RPG. As soon a...

Re: Specialization bonus rebalance?

@RedFive The problem right now is just, that wheeled transports have no real reason to be taken, aswell as APCs are not a thing to go. When i have a quick check through my decks, even in the unspec ones i have almost no wheeled transports except they have an AC. The only one I need a VAB is in my EC...

Re: Specialization bonus rebalance?

Motorised: +2 inf slots, and most importantly all wheeld transports that have no AC should drop by CP 5points. As soon as the initial phase of the game is over and there is a constant stream of reinforcement the wheeld transports dont profit from the speed advantage anymore and than the 5point M113...

Re: Specialization bonus rebalance?

In my opinion two specialisations defenitely have to be changed: Armored: +1 Support slot +1 Veterancy to Support, as this specialisation depends heavily on Smoke and AA to protect the tanks. I dont think it needs more slots in Recon as you still can bring a scout Infantry (its not high end but it c...

Re: [Non-included Coalition] Neutral Central Europe (Austria+Switzerland)

Anyway we shouldnt leave out the Panzergrenadiere and Grenadiere as Infantry. I included the Grenadiere under the heading "Kommando Spesialkräfte", as US Ranger-like Shock Recon. This was based on an assessment of their capabilities from the Wikipedia page on them, which mentions they wer...

Re: Motorized Deck after Isreal Patch.

In my opinion two things really hurt Motorized really much: Low count on Infantry-ATM and the Really bad vehicle ATGMs. Lets take EC as example: Milan 1 are shit and Milan 2 are not reliable at max distance. Milan 3 is really good but you get 6 of them. They are two man teams and will die really fas...

Re: [Non-included Coalition] Neutral Central Europe (Austria+Switzerland)

I would love if Switzerland would make it into wargame even if it is only in 2 years from now. Would be the only Nation I play. Anyway we shouldnt leave out the Panzergrenadiere and Grenadiere as Infantry. Panzergrenadiere are the mechanized shock troops of Switzerland, while the Grenadiere are the ...

Re: Fine-tuning SK/Japan

Japan dosnt need the patriot and so does the US. For competitive gaming other factors are way more important than high end anti air. Over all my games the following things are really important to have a deck that can compete: 1. Cheap infantry+fire support for towns/forests 2. Good ATGM-plane 3. 332...

Re: Fix accuracy of LGBs and increase price

With the change to the LGBs, which was totally justified, i wanted to adress an issue I see now in RD/China. Would it be possible to change the chinese TV-guided ATGM plane? In comparison to the SU27M the chinese version performs really bad. This is mostly due to the fact that first its veterancy i...

Re: T72 obr 89 pricing

I Like the obr89 and I even prefer it over the T80U (the one for 150 points). It is pretty robust compared to its BLUE counterparts and in this price bracket this is the selling point for me. Yes it has a hard time against the HA in 1v1 fights but this dosnt happen too much. Against Inf you hardly ...
