Re: Community Balance Patch

An Su-25T tanking two Hawk missiles and not dying isn't though. I agree, i remember someone's solution was to give 15HP to a-10 and su25t but make them 1AV all around. also im not asking for complete realism because that would be impossible but just more of it while keeping the semi realistic game ...

Re: Community Balance Patch

Yes, that would be a possibility. Perhaps if we got Faust and Razzmann to spearhead it and take input from all of the top players. Perhaps in addition to patching the really unbalanced stuff they could improve the Dragons to make the game mostly balanced between all factions. Perhaps nobody would p...

Re: Community Balance Patch

Regarding Maglans in a regular Israel deck we already had enough discussions, no need to repeat all that. But in your proposal, further nerfing Maglans would hit Israel double, since you already plan to remove dedicated infantry ATGM teams. In that context, I'd say Maglans should, in some way, func...

Re: Community Balance Patch

- Nerf Maglans Nerf em further? Yes, I mean they feel like a stealthy durable 5 man ATGM team who can spot for themselves. SF training that allows them to dodge indirect fire support and fend off infantry with CQC. They literally have no weakness besides ammo count and Cav Scouts is the only other ...

Re: Community Balance Patch

Instead of fulfilling all the what if-fantasies it could be better to approach the subject of dlc nations by removing obvious f***ups and then going at the changes in a way that minimally impacts how the game generally plays .fi -standardize kvkk62 to other mgs (and standardize all mgs) -xa-185kt o...

Re: Community Balance Patch

Baltic, Entente, Norad Coalitions removed. These nations are powerful enough to go standalone or could be slightly buffed in certain areas to be more competitive alone, and would make balancing easier with units not being in so many different factions and concerns. ATGM BUFF in general (except nimr...

Re: Eugen's decision to omit mortar squads will never make sense to me

The same could be said with the patriot, 203mm arty, literally every ATGM ingame, etc. yet their set up animations arent included. Why should infantry mortars be the exception. Yep definitely engine limitation. "And that we couldn't help with the present engine" https://forums.eugensystem...

LOL

I think mortar infantry maybe a engine limitation like tow guns. Mortar infantry would have to move, setup, and fire, then pack up and move again.

Re: Inquiry: Why does WRD not have a standardized unit naming system?

Differentiation. The Chinese get YYY-XX designations such as ZTZ-85, the North Koreans get Type XX and the Japanese get Ekcs Ekcs Shiki. It's intended to make the units stand apart from each other and it more or less succeeds. Apart from the annoyance of Japanese double naming, which is why the Gun...
