Re: Fine-tuning NK/China

If eugen somehow magically got the ressources and competence to expand into the huge chinese market, then this is a topic that their management needs to deal with. And let it be known that currently wargame can be banned simply because of that Hongkong campaign. If I were on the Chinese Vidya Censo...

Re: Community Balance Patch

Is there any chance of a ground of top players organizing to do this community patch? I remember the old Steam Wargame Generals group before it went defunk. It was a pleasure to lurk on because the discussions were always thoughtful, on point, and without any serious arguing or trolling. I'd be thr...

Re: Eugen's decision to omit mortar squads will never make sense to me

Two or three 60mm mortars, which were simple statclones of the Dutch LARO Mortier and thereby the AML-60. Admittedly the tank probably shouldn't have sat still under the bombardment initially but what's a 2HE shell going to do? Rather a lot, as some of us can tell you. It's not terribly difficult to...

Re: Eugen's decision to omit mortar squads will never make sense to me

Alright, speaking as someone who has sort of tried out 60mm mortar squads a little, they're an awful idea. They absolutely piss smoke and if you stop anything within 3km of a blob of them it'll never move again with all the crits they're about to land on it. They're either overpriced or too cost ef...

Well, guess I'm signing up 'Flashman' for the UK name list now. Get in ahead of the crowd.

Re: Inquiry: Why does WRD not have a standardized unit naming system?

For Japanese tanks in particular, I wish they called it Type whatever it was. Not only is the example of Guntank a strange anomaly in the list, they did the same thing for Chinese tanks (which were added at the same time so its not like it's outdated). Why would the same game, with units added at t...

Which north koreans never had, if i might add :3

On the basis that it's not a T-62D by the model, the stats or the nation it belongs to I think we can just assume that the 'D' is a typo.

Re: Bulgaria: some aircraft loadout suggestions for wargame 4 and more

Did Bulgaria have the ODABs? I cant find any info, but its possible they did since the USSR gave some advanced munitions to Bulgaria like Kh-25s. Did the czechs have them? Possibly not, but what sort of justification is that? Two wrongs do not make a right. You can't get 4x R-73 and 2x R-2X on four...

Re: Bulgaria: some aircraft loadout suggestions for wargame 4 and more

The Su-22M4 was the most important and advanced ground attack aircraft of the bulgarian air force. Any advanced guided munitions available would've been used on it... It could also have a thermobaric bomb loadout of 6xODAB-500s. Did Bulgaria have the ODABs? Also, Bulgaria operated 4 MiG-25RBTs unti...
