Re: More questions...

There definitely was a StuG III G with coax, but from what I remember it was introduced in June or even September '44, so it might be OOTF, can't check it now. Not sure about StuG IV. Remote controlled MG was on the roof, instead of the standard one, so there would be no difference in game. Digged ...

Re: More questions...

Why does the M4A1 have more front armor than the Pz.IV H? Sloping, as answered above. Why doesn't the Pz.IV J have wire mesh schurzen? Looking at David Doyle's reference catalogue of German combat vehicles, Thoma Schurzen entered service (factory-mounted) in August 1944, just as Overlord ended (whi...

Re: Introducing: Steel Division Wiki (ow, my back)

Looks solid, nice job, mods perhaps a sticky is in order? I would love nothing more than that! At a later date if the mod tools allow it, it might be useful to try to extract some of the hidden values in game, a good example being the turn radius of aircraft which are currently a qualitative value ...

Re: Let vehicles recover from "Bailed out" critical

And the Allies know the Germans have tanks perfectly capable of causing the total destruction of a Sherman. I'll just add that there's also the German tank fighting doctrine to consider, which basically focused on shooting the tank until it caught on fire or changed shape. So a mobility or firepowe...

Introducing: Steel Division Wiki (ow, my back)

Without further ado, a wiki for Steel Division: http://steeldivision.gamepedia.com/ I've been working on it for the past week, including a rather painful experience with transcribing screenshots (don't ask) and it's slowly on the way to completion. I don't presume to be the end-all-be-all authority ...
