Re: When is it best to put infantry in forest or in building?

There is a line-of-sight mini game with Infantry. Try to shuffle them between buildings if they are taking fire from a unit out of their range. Likewise, hide them deeper inside forests if there are units that can snipe them if they are on the edge of the forest. Move them back to the outer building...

Re: Very expensive units, but which can have over 90% weapon accuracy?

The problem with accuracy is how disproportionately buffed it gets by the vet system.

I like to imagine the cap is to simulate the numerous countermeasures that aren't represented ingame.

Re: Sniping enemy tanks

Ah thank you again guys. Another question for you, is it better to snipe tanks with an helicopter or with another tank destroyer? The recon Bradley will give the helo's a run for their money, generally the helo's are better though. Their speed and height allows them to kite enemies much better, whe...

Re: Countering Jaeger Spam

You were actually in quite a good position at the start but failed to reinforce. I only noticed at the end of the game you were sending units to other zones which may explain that. Lots of empty buildings that should've had inf piled into them, troop transports (some with ATGMS) lurking way back in ...

Re: Sniping enemy tanks

Most important is to be able to identify the 2800m+ AA units and be able to neutralize them with mortars/arty also. Having been trolled by ATGM choppers so many times I never leave home without at least one AA unit that I tend to babysit for when I spot Longbows etc. Cheap transport choppers are goo...

Re: So, HE or Napalm MRLs

The FOB drain of MLRS isn't too bad if you aren't constantly blind firing them, that's partially helped by the insane reload times. You need to exploit their fast aim time and use a bit of reservation before making it hail rockets otherwise your enemy will be able to attack with impunity for a few m...

Re: So, HE or Napalm MRLs

Napalm MLRS is fun, but I'd rather use the support slot for something else and stick to using a napalm bomber instead. You get a more even coverage of napalm that way too. (Infantry will always find that one tiny spot to hide the napalm MLRS missed) Air units can't quite replicate what HE MLRS does ...

Re: Cluster Versus ATGM planes

I think the players are so acutely aware of ATGM plane suicide that they now keep their superheavies close to smoke or cover for the inevitable quick retreat, and baiting into ADN of the kamikazee plane. Cluster bombing is a way to hedge your bets, trading off killing the superheavy in exchange for ...

Give CV's a special stealth rating that cannot be spotted at all by helo's....?

Re: What do you think about fuel?

I'd rather have the fuel mechanism than not have it.

In my ideal world, captured zones would act as a FOB of sorts and extend your area of influence/supply/morale.

The concept of supply/repair throughput is quite absent in Wargame, all bottlenecks are the same.
