Re: How I see the metagame currently (from a NATO player's P

I notice NATO players pouring far too many points into their tanks and choppers. To the point where they have next to no infantry screens, nor light units to soak up those ATGM's then allow their superior tanks to move in and tear shit up while on the move. Pact players could just as easily splurge...

Re: Disbanding units at the edge of the map.

Spam helo's/arty, go give his main force some hell. Cash them out when out of ammo then bring in a shiny new tank force to mop up. Also this would completely do away with well executed attacks on another players deployment zones, when threatened they'd just cash out then redeploy to an allies zone (...

Re: Terrain, Roads, Buildings w/Fuel & LoS/Cover/Recon quest

In the last example, the ATGM soldiers at 'C' would take a while to acquire their target (as they always do) and probably get wiped out after revealing their position. 'A' have no line of sight (too many buildings) and there's a chance 'B' wouldn't have line of sight on helo's. given that situation,...

Re: Anyone understand how spotting/recon mechanics work? Als

Air recon should be able to spot further, but be lousy at seeing through concealment. (foliage is a bitch) I think that explains the recon choppers being taken out by infantry in the forest. On the other hand, I don't feel like land based recon spots concealed units quite as well as it should. Espec...

Re: Sides seem balanced

From my experience over the past few days I'm inclined to agree..

Would rather see new features (reversing, countermeasures etc.) implemented as opposed to nerf-based patches.

(As a side note, woo first post! Really loving this game :D)
