Re: Soviet Units in W:RD

The stabilizer of the T-62MV-1 is really nice, and I'm not sure what you are talking about with autonomy, it has 150 km more than the 64B. It has 50 more, but I stand corrected, I thought it had the same as the 2 before it. It's definitely not a bad tank, but I see little reason to bring it over th...

Re: My suggestions for the Bundeswehr in Wargame: Red Dragon

I was under the impression they are at least getting a couple bomb truck phantoms?

A Phantom with a 2/4 500s or 2/4 Napalm would solve my only remaining complaint with a FRG national.

Re: Soviet Units in W:RD

well t-62mv-1 is an exceptional tank for its price i do wonder why people dont use it more often for me, i just love bmp3 more Its rather slow and has relatively bad autonomy, and for the USSR it's a matter of deck slots for most people. I would bring them if I wasn't happier with the T-64Bs in tha...

Exactly.

Re: Infantry and cover.

No this idea could totally work, if they add a tag like [STAT] that allows an infantry to be in the lowest form of cover, like the swamp cover, when they stand still. It's broken as soon as they move, and we're talking a very moderate reduction, like 10% to spotting distance and a .1-.2 reduction to...

Re: My suggestions for the Bundeswehr in Wargame: Red Dragon

The problem with them though is that they would also work nicely against targets other than hinds. A cheap variant with 600kmh, high rof and double HE has massive exploit- potential Unfortunately this is the truth about a lot of changes in ALB's unit design, it's that you can't focus abilities agai...

Re: Soviet Units in W:RD

I think the issue is that you use tanks a certain way and don't seem to see how other people can use tanks differently. Maybe it's because you play mostly 1v1s or 2v2s or ranked or don't like to fight medium tanks with medium tanks, but I don't know. I'll admit this is probably true, but at the sam...

Re: Soviet Units in W:RD

Base T-72 gives you 4 HE damage for 40 points on a platform that's way more survivable than a T-34 or Su-122 and is great for infantry support. T-72A can damage chieftains as it has equal AP to Chieftain's frontal armor; in fact T-64A comes the worse off for this engagement because it has less AP t...

Re: AH-64A/D in RD

As long as the Vikhr is given equal range, I'm in full support. The KA-50 and Apache Longbow being superior range ATGM mac-daddies extraordinaire is 100% fine by me :) Extensive testing by FLX and Xeno is going into making the Vikhr have its familiar "two-volley' system as well. Nice, no compl...
