Most of the changes the hardcore crowd wants are within the boundaries of the engine. They just want to change the stats around a bit (and some of the unit models) to be more in line with RL at the expense of some game balance. I agree. The ATGM range increase would have been enough to make them deadlier. There was no need to buff their AP power as well. Heavy tanks are fine the way they are. I always play both sides (NATO and PACT) and while ATGM's are now the thing to be feared on the battlefield (as far as vehicles go) ...
