Re: Campaign needs Player vs Player

With friends I doubt it would matter much if the campaign is balanced or not. Didn't the campaigns in ALB even say "Favours PACT" , "Favours NATO" or something? People could play those campaigns 1 vs 1, so why not the RD ones?

Re: When did they do that?

I think what he means is also that they do not attack enemy GROUPS but also simultaniously attack different enemy targets that are not in a group themselve. I have seen that. My IFVs for example fired their rocket at individual targets, which were not in one group, instead of wasting 4 rockets on on...

Re: Itty Bitty Campaign Points Mod

I did stick the file there in the first place, I did not test yet if the mod works. :P I was just wondering if I got it right. Hm, odd though, before I had no .dat file like that in that folder. I mean, I did not have to replace any file, there was no other win.dat file or whatever it is called.

Re: Wargame: Crimean Escalation

[list][*] Less Factions, less units: For the beginning, I will only include Russia, the Ukraine and the USA. I might add European countries later (or a put them together as a "EU" faction). This low number of nations has two purposes: Easier balancing, by only having a small selction of u...

Re: Tank availability tiers

The thing is, the campaign is the more authentic part of the game, where you actually get many tanks of the kind that were in service during that era... in multiplayer it's like armies from 1975-1991 meet and fight, with everything they developed during that time.

Re: Suggestion for a map or game type

Could give the attacker availability bonuses and a higher income than the defender? I love the campaign scenarios and so wish some of them would exist in MP.. or that we could at least play the campaign in versus mode, to get rid of the AI and replace it with a competent player.

Re: Starting points, way too low.

Starting points, IF limited, should be limited by the amount of players, not the map. When select 4 vs 4 you should always be able to set 4000 points starting points per team.
