Re: Thought Experiment: How the USSR could have survived

I can see 2 main ways the USSR would have survived (but how long ?) : 1/Increased repression. The success of the '91 coup could have led to a seizure of the power by hardline members of the party, who would have put an end by force to the growing protests in the USSR and in satellite countries. But ...

Re: War Thunder

Yeah but the AC-130 has military value, it is just a specific tool for a specific job. The Maus was a moronic example of how the Germans get too much credit for being smart or efficient. Big difference between a tool for a job and a strong competitor for worst tank idea ever. Actually (but you prob...

Re: [RD] Report chat abuses & teamkilling

I'd like to report player Desmosedici RR, for cheesy tactics and, most importantly TK. He started spamming gazelles canon, I told him it was a cheezey tactic, and told my opponants I was sorry for this battle. He said I wasn't thankful, and threatened to kill my CVs, which he did. Here is a screensh...

Re: War Thunder

It was in here at least: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fighter:_The_True_Story_of_the_Battle_of_Britain It talked about a series of experiments involving an old Blenheim fuselage, and the amount of rounds on target. It could be I have it somewhat jumbled, but there was definitely a counting and weig...

Re: War Thunder

Also, wtf the Brits were thinking with eight .303 guns on the hurricane I do not know. I can literally hose these BF 110s with fire for like four seconds and yet they live. WELL LET ME TELL YOU In a nutshell the British used their measurement for determining the optimal fighter weapons systems as l...

Re: Personal opinion on EOTS HAWK (range adjustments)

We're talking about a prototype available only to a coalition which only has 1 heavy tank, an obsolete SEAD, no gunships and no AA helos... Yeah, the EOTS hawk could use a small plane range buff, but it isn't top priority. As if 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 games with mixed (SCAND+US for example) teams not exist....

Re: Pls Remove the Stat porn in the lobby Eugen

I've also seen people threaten to leave the lobby after saying, "please don't stick me with this newb player." Needless to say, the new player ended up leaving. Felt bad for that person. Stats would be great at end of game though. So how do they expect them to get better? Exactly. Playing...

Re: Super Etendard(considering coalitions)

why using 1 missile if it can use 2? Fuel more than likely. There aren't many planes with their max loadours in the game, because they would put strain on the airframe or have other drawbacks. Exactly : with 2 AS-30, no drop tanks. Without drop tanks, your SEM can just take off from the Clemenceau,...

Re: So Newer Su47 might actually enter service O_O

If the Russians were the French, then they'd have surrendered by now would have been able to use French solutions, but as the case is, the Russians do not have the technical capacity to make a Rafale solution to making a non-stealthy plane not get shot down. Unless the French sold that to the Russi...
