Best idea for recon EVER ! Why use a VAB or a Puma to carry scouts when you have recon jeeps or Gazelles to do the job ? Jeeps yes, however the Gazelle was not a transport helicopter although it could take 2 passengers. Recon transport helicopters that I can think of are: Mi-2 UH-6 Lynx MD500 Huey ...

Can we hijack this thread for a bit to discuss reworking Recon infantry transports? Why are we not using : BRDMs, UAZs, Mi-2s, BTR40s as Pact infantry transports for scouts (which is what they are IRL) HMMVW, Land Rovers, MH-6 Littlebird, Spartan, Panhard etc. for NATO To me it seems silly transport...

This has happened to me as well but I think it might actually be a terrain issue instead of a Arty issue, because I have seen Planes and Helis clipping through terrain like mountains or small cliffs. Which possibly means the altitudes on some maps are not registering properly with air units, therefo...

In the realism TV series Generation Kill;

There was a LAV platoon that was part of the 1st RCB that provided support for the Recon marines.

I setup a British marine deck last night that would fill one of the battlegroups. All that is needed is a Airborne deck.

Updated the roster too.
